Wow!!! Changes coming for the Brownells! Some of you may know that Lyle is now officially not working and we had decided to go on a mission. Well we got our papers back, finally, on thursday the 29th of April. It was a long hard battle to get everything done and get the papers in , so we were anxious to get them back. Well to cut to the chase---- we are going to the New York, New York South Mission as CES specialists. What ever that is. We will be gone for 2 years. We check into the MTC on July 12th and are there for two weeks, then head across country for New York. The mission takes in all of Long Island. Here is a picture of where so you can kind-of figure it out. Long Island has 8.5 million people on it, so these little Enumclawites will be totally out of place. They speak over 120 different languages on the island and say it is the most diverse place in the country, so it will be very interesting to get to know all kinds of people from everywhere.
One really fun thing is that my first cousin and her husband are working in the mission office in the same mission. They are from Oregon and started their mission in February. So they will be there almost as long as we will. That will be really fun to get to know her again. We haven't seen each other in a long time. So we have a great deal to do, but thought you would all like to know. We will probably start another blog just for the mission, so watch for that.

Another New Grandbaby

Meet Megan Raye Hillman. She was born on December 28, 2009. She belongs to Stephanie and Travis Hillman and is McKenna and Madison's little sister. We had fun going to see her. We got there the day after she was born and got to stay till after New Years. Stephanie and Travis are the only ones who have girls. All the rest of our grandkids are boys. This makes eight for us. Our family is really growing.
